Tshering Choden

Tshering Choden (born 1 January 1979) is an athlete from Bhutan. She competes in archery.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Archer ID 372 )
Choden represented Bhutan at the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympic Games. In 2004 she placed 54th in the women's individual ranking round with a 72-arrow score of 600. In the first round of elimination, she faced 11th-ranked Lin Sang of China. Choden upset the heavily favored Lin, winning 159-156 in the 18-arrow match, becoming the first Bhutanese archer ever to win a match at the Olympics and advancing to the round of 32. In that round, Choden faced Reena Kumari of India, losing to the 43rd-ranked archer in a 7-4 tie-breaker after tying at 134 in the regulation 18 arrows. Choden finished 32nd in women's individual archery.〔(Olympic results )〕
She was chosen to carry the national flag of Bhutan at the opening ceremony of the 2004 Games.
She appears in the 2005 Arte-documentary ''Die Bogenschützin von Bhutan''.
She coached the only Bhutanese archer in the 2012 Olympic Games, Sherab Zam.
